Our Story
The MOD Movement was born when Whitney and Daniel brought food to children and elders at the Boystown Orphanage in Manila, a government-run home for abandoned orphans and elderly people. That day sparked something greater.
Nearly a decade later, that single visit has grown into homes, halls, and classrooms across the Philippines and the United States.

The MOD Movement, established by Daniel and Whitney Ramsey, aims to create a lasting impact on lives worldwide. Daniel's background as a real estate agent, developer, and business owner has helped the movement take on difficult projects of every size, from small initiatives to large-scale developments: infrastructure improvements, buildings, homes, and activity halls that improve children's lives.
As a longtime wrestling coach, Daniel also makes sure the MOD Movement promotes equal access to sports and athletic programs for children, which build physical health, leadership, and teamwork.
Whitney Ramsey
Cofounder · 20 years in children's education
Whitney Ramsey co-created MOD Movement with her husband Daniel Ramsey. Whitney has worked with children and in education for the past 20 years. She has worked as a behavior specialist for children with special needs, a California public school teacher, and a children's athletic coach and yoga instructor.
She has been a stay at home mom and home school instructor to her 3 children over the past 12 years. Whitney has a heart for children, education and philanthropy!

How to join the movement
Join us at the Boystown orphanage and senior living facility, where our work over the past eight years has improved the lives of over 600 residents. With the help of dedicated virtual professionals from MyOutDesk and the generous support of our community, family, friends, and MOD clients, we have made real progress. There is still more to do.
Right now, more than 40 seniors with varying medical needs are housed in a temporary large tent because the main senior building is overcrowded. Our immediate goal is to build housing that gives up to 50 seniors stable shelter and the dignity of proper beds and living conditions. Your support goes directly to this project.
