Our projects for Boystown elders improve the quality of life of each senior we serve. We provide upgrades and services that meet their immediate needs and give them comfort and dignity in their later years.
Who we serve
MOD Movement serves a diverse group of elders at Boystown, many of whom need special care because of age-related conditions or socio-economic factors. Our projects improve their living conditions and well-being so they have the comfort, medical care, and community they deserve. We work on immediate needs and long-term comfort alike, and we want every elder to feel valued and live their remaining years with dignity.

2016
Lily Flor Hall
A purpose-built hall housing 60-70 elders who were previously without proper shelter: full ventilation, modern showers, laundry, kitchen, and dining.
2017
Day of Giving 2017
The late Lily Flor led a day of games, packed lunches, and activities that brought volunteers, children, and elders together.
2018
Day of Giving 2018
A day filled with events for children and the elderly, packed with volunteers from MyOutDesk.
2022
Elders' Main Hall & Infirmary Renovation
Major renovation of the elders' main hall plus an infirmary and clinic upgrade: new roof, air conditioning, and proper ventilation for over 200 elders.

Day of Giving 2024
Volunteers braved stormy weather to deliver hygiene kits, meals, performances, and activities for children and elders alike.

Mariano Hall
A new, fully air-conditioned facility housing 70 elders after Manila City Hall transferred over 100 new residents, part of a project impacting 439 individuals.
How to join the movement
Join us at the Boystown orphanage and senior living facility, where our work over the past eight years has improved the lives of over 600 residents. With the help of dedicated virtual professionals from MyOutDesk and the generous support of our community, family, friends, and MOD clients, we have made real progress. There is still more to do.
Right now, more than 40 seniors with varying medical needs are housed in a temporary large tent because the main senior building is overcrowded. Our immediate goal is to build housing that gives up to 50 seniors stable shelter and the dignity of proper beds and living conditions. Your support goes directly to this project.
