The Rosemont Wrestling team is in an economically challenged area and the program serves 40-50 young kids each year. The mission: develop and mold young men and women into adults through a school athletics program built on work ethic, competitiveness, mental toughness, and the desire to improve, all while staying positive and coachable.
Rosemont wrestlers learn to lead through three core tenets: Be Caring, Be Courageous, Be Consistent. Great captains have an undeniable passion for the sport and their teammates, step up during adversity, and hold themselves to a standard of 100% effort in every practice and match.
Founder Daniel Ramsey has coached the team since 2015, when a friend challenged him to give of his time and talent, not just his treasure.
How to join the movement
Join us at the Boystown orphanage and senior living facility, where our work over the past eight years has improved the lives of over 600 residents. With the help of dedicated virtual professionals from MyOutDesk and the generous support of our community, family, friends, and MOD clients, we have made real progress. There is still more to do.
Right now, more than 40 seniors with varying medical needs are housed in a temporary large tent because the main senior building is overcrowded. Our immediate goal is to build housing that gives up to 50 seniors stable shelter and the dignity of proper beds and living conditions. Your support goes directly to this project.
